SCULPTURE
Horse of the wind
One of the brightest examples of a new stage in the work of Zhigzhit Bayaskhalanov. Here there is not only an appeal to the ancestral heritage and interpretation through the prism of modernity, but also a keen desire to unite two worlds: to put into the image the facets of European and Eastern culture. Thus, we see a winged horse, and for Europeans, who grew up on Greek mythology, in the image of Pegasus, and for Buddhists it is the image of "Hii Morin" - a creature surrounded by legends and tales, bringing everyone prosperity and prosperity, fulfilling wishes. The figure of the horse evokes a sense of harmony and protection of the universe. The wings are raised, allegorically conveying the state of spiritual flight and freedom. The enchantment of the marvelous character comes from its inner energy and dynamics, while seeming monumental.
